How it all started

Born entrepreneurs Andrée Falardeau and André Beauregard began their adventure in 1994 by teaming up to create an import-export business.

The late 1990s marked a great turning point. During a client meeting in Quebec, Canada, they were surprised by the request to develop a line of goat’s milk products. Beauregard and Falardeau embraced this opportunity, teaming up with a biochemist to develop the product line. One year later, the duo proudly emerged with an extensive line of soaps that they launched across North America.

The success of the Canus product line grew steadily, reaching international markets.

The upward spiral was so promising, that the two entrepreneurs decided to set their sights on the U.S. market in 2000.
